Fresh Facial Masks & Gentle Exfoliating Cleansers can be created almost entirely from ingredients you can eat! When used in a relaxing facial, these delicious ingredients help stimulate circulation, promote deep cleansing, can heal blemishes, and tone the skin.
In this interactive, hands-on session, participants will customize their own spa quality masks and cleansers. You'll experience all the wonderful things (like fresh fruit & vegetables, whole grains and nuts, yogurt, etc.) that you can use to make your own fresh facials at home, using all-natural (mostly edible) ingredients. We'll even eat some of them during class!
We'll whip up both "wet" and "dry" finished products. The wet products are easier to use on the spot and can be prepared with all sorts of beneficial "wetting agents", while the dry (or powdered) finished products make wonderful gifts for friends and family members. Since these wonderful products are of no use unless we actually USE them, students will be encouraged to apply the Fresh Facial Masks IN CLASS (after first doing a patch test) while snacking on fresh fruit. Or, if you prefer, take the fresh facial mask home to use that same night.
THIS CLASS WILL COVER:
~Cleansing Fresh Fruits
~Nourishing Vegetables
~Moisturizing Milk Products
~Beneficial Fresh & Powdered Herbs
~New Powdered Fruit Extracts
~Gently Exfoliating Grains, Seeds & Nuts
~Cosmetic Grade Clays
~Non-Comedogenic Carrier Oils
~Therapeutic Essential Oils
~Wonderful Wetting Agents
Come and discover all the nourishing and delicious fresh
(and dry) ingredients that you can use to take care of your skin!
Everyone will leave with several single serving samples, plus a 2 oz. jar of facial scrub and a 2 oz. jar of a facial clay mask. You'll also go home with handouts, which include a variety of tempting recipes for masks & cleansers, a glossary so you can look up the ingredients we used in class, and a recommended resource list so you know where to shop.
All products made in this class are 100%
NATURAL (they are free from
synthetic ingredients and preservatives). Please BRING a washcloth and hand towel to class.
