Bath & Body Boot Camp:
The Original 4-Day Product Making Intensive

This special intensive workshop provides the rare opportunity to be immersed in the world of making bath & body products (from scratch) for 4 days. During the series, we'll cover 17 different products. You'll learn to make lotions & creams (from scratch), tub treats like fizzing bath bombs & herbal tub tea, 3 types of body butters (traditional, solid massage bars & exfoliating butter scrubs), 3 types of all-natural perfumes (alcohol-based, oil-based roll-ons, and solids), botanical bath salts & oil-based traditional salt body scrubs, 3 types of spa facial products (cleansing grains, facial steaming herbs & clay/herb masks), and melt & pour soap. This intensive is ideal for out-of-town students or those who live near by who would rather take as many classes as they can in a short period of time. This workshop is limited to 14 students and must be purchased as a series.

Other than the materials fee which is to be paid with cash or check on the first day of class, you don't need to bring anything with you - we supply everything you need! You will go home with thorough handouts for each class, tested and exacting recipes, clear instructions for everything we make, and bunches of finished products (see details on each class description page by clicking on links above). Boot camp students will also receive special extras including a class binder and a frame-worthy personalized certificate of completion for the series.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Since this is different than our one-day classes, the CANCELLATION POLICY is as follows: If you need to cancel *for any reason* let us know as soon as possible. If we CAN fill your space (assuming the class is full), you will receive a refund of your payment minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. If we cannot fill your space, unfortunately there will be no refund OR future class credit given. If you cannot make the workshop, you have the option of sending someone else in your place.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Lori Nova, owner of The Nova Studio, began making natural bath & body products in her kitchen in 2000 as a way to make family & friends homemade, practical gifts. Shortly thereafter, she began sharing her passion by teaching classes. Lori has taught classes for The University of Hawaii Manoa, The Handcrafted Soap Makers Guild, Foothill De Anza Community College in Cupertino, The Learning Annex of San Francisco, Juniper Tree Soap and Candle Supply in Berkeley, The Native American Cultural Center & The Berkeley Ecology Center.
