Sweet Treats:
4 Deliciously Tempting Melt & Pour Soap Projects

If you love candy, ice cream, and sweets as much as I do, you will not want to miss this super fun hands-on class! Come learn how to make adorable Soapylove original soaps inspired by our favorite treats. We will be using melt and pour soap and no prior experience is needed. This class will cover lots of techniques and pointers about colorants, layering, and using molds. Don't miss it!

Projects include:

1)  Peanut Butter & Jelly (PB&J) Soaps
2)  Peppermint Soap Bark
3)  Mint-Chip Soapwiches
4)  Neapolitan Slice Soap

We will supply everything you need - just show up ready to have fun & learn at the same time. You'll receive handouts that include written instructions for all soaps made in class. Arrive empty handed and leave with a bag brimming with soapy goodies (all wrapped up cute & ready to use or gift).

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Debbie Chialtas is a self taught melt & pour soap crafter who has been feverishly making soaps for almost 4 years. Her business, Soapylove, is famous for its unique "soapsicles," which have appeared in Glamour, People, Cosmogirl, and other magazines around the world. Debbie was a guest on the DIY Network's Craft Lab and has a melt & pour soap crafting book coming out next Fall. She is also a mother of 2 and lives with her husband in San Diego. Debbie will be teaching two different project-oriented melt & pour soap classes on 12/13/08 at The Nova Studio: Bubbly Holidays and Sweet Treats Melt & Pour Soap.
