Artistic Melt & Pour Soap Techniques:
Engraving, Painting & Transferring

All Day Melt & Pour Boot Camp with Soapylove! We will spend 6 fabulous hours making glycerin soaps as I teach many of my most cherished techniques, including some from my soon-to-be-released book!

Learn how to transfer amazing designs to the surface of your soaps, use pigment and mica paints to create artistic details within your soaps, hand engrave monograms for raised designs within a bar, and make soap embeds that look like elegant tile work. No previous experience is needed, and you will leave with techniques to express your own artistic style!

Each student will create 2 bars from 4 different projects.  All supplies will be provided to create them, and many more will be available for sale after class so you can go home and put your inspiration to work!

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Debbie Chialtas is a self taught melt & pour soap crafter who has been feverishly making soaps for almost 4 years. Her business, Soapylove, is famous for its unique "soapsicles," which have appeared in Glamour, People, Cosmogirl, and other magazines around the world. Debbie was a guest on the DIY Network's Craft Lab and has a melt & pour soap crafting book coming out next Fall. She is also a mother of 2 and lives with her husband in San Diego.
