Do you like using luxurious bath products but wish they didn't contain synthetic preservatives & artificial ingredients and cost a small fortune? Learn to make your own (affordable) 100% natural botanical bath salts, exfoliating salt scrubs, herbal tub teas, and soothing milk baths in this fun, hands-on workshop.

Learn what Botanical Bath Salts are, what goes into them, and how you can make them at home using all-natural ingredients. See all the new/popular types of salt available today and customize your salts using pure essential oils for scent (like lavender citrus, cedarwood orange, or double-mint), dried herbs for texture, and clays or other botanical ingredients for color.

Salt Body Scrubs can be used in the bath (or shower) to exfoliate dead skin cells and soften your skin. When finished, you'll feel like you just stepped out of a five-star spa! Learn about the different types, sizes and textures of salt to use in scrubs, the properties and shelf life of carrier oils, and which botanicals and other fun ingredients you can safely include. Customize your scrub with essential oils that enhance the exfoliating experience with aromatherapy, your choice of exfoliating agents, and herbs / clays for natural color. Also, learn which antioxidants you can use to extend the shelf-life of your natural products.

Herbal Tub Teas are little bags of heaven. They contain dried herbs, botanicals, powders and other ingredients that have beneficial properties for your skin and aromatherapy qualities to delight your senses. Treat yourself and your loved ones to homemade bath tub tea - a truly pampering experience. You'll also learn several variations on the "tub tea" theme like all-natural oatmeal chamomile "wash bags" for those who are tub-challenged.

Last but not least, you'll make Soothing Milk Baths that make your skin super soft (the lactic acid in milk is a mild exfoliant). Milks have been used in skin care for thousands of years. Cleopatra was famous for her aromatic milk baths, to which she attributed her renowned powers of charm and seduction. Learn about the interesting selection of milks available (both animal milks & vegan milks) and customize your creations with essential oils to create a milk bath that is energizing or calming (or both)!

Come and see how easy it is to make fabulous natural tub-time treats
for yourself and for gifts that will PAMPER & WOW your recipients!

You will leave this class with helpful handouts, Nova Studio tested recipes, a supplier resource list, an 8 oz. jar of bath salts, an 8 oz. jar of salt scrub, 3 tub teas, 2 milk baths - all created, made and packaged professionally (by you!) and ready to use or give away as gifts. Most importantly, you will have the knowledge to make many more products on your own at home.
