Day 1: Friday, 6/29/12 – How to Increase Website Traffic & Master Search Engine Optimization
It's vital to lay an effective framework for your website - just like a builder lays a foundation before constructing a house. After all, just because you've built a website doesn't mean that customers will find it. The goal in this session is to build web traffic to your site.
In this session students will also learn how to cast an online net & bring potential customers to their website. Who are your target customers? Where do they spend time online? Each student will determine keywords with an SEO worksheet. Then we'll check out competitor sites and research any potential search engine roadblocks.
This session will help you take your web presence to a new level. You'll learn tips and tricks to make search engines love your website.
Day 2: Saturday, 6/30/12 – How to Maximize Website Sales & Avoid Common Mistakes
After Day 1, you'll have the techniques to bring customers to your website. Now it's time to maximize your website for sales. First, we'll determine your website goals. Next, we'll take a look at your website and determine its success rate by understanding website statistics. Students will learn the top five tips for successful web sites.
In this workshop, learn the importance of describing bath and body products and create website descriptions as well as other important tactics that build sales. We'll also look at shopping cart secrets, up selling, cross-selling, using colors that sell, learn to create photos that sell, and test for usability. As an added value, we'll review student web sites and check for the 10 most common website mistakes (and fix them!).
Day 3: Sunday, 7/1/12 – Spotlight Your Business: How to Gain Worldwide Attention Online
We've built traffic in Day 1, and maximized sales in Day 2. Now that your website is a lean, mean, sales machine, we'll focus on how spotlighting your bath & body business online can gain local, national and worldwide attention.
Do you find blogging painful? Learn to find the fun in blogging and how partnering with other blogs can increase your web sales. Marla will show you how to create a successful blogging campaign. You'll also learn how to spend less than 15 minutes a day and still be effective on Facebook and Twitter.
Students will see how to easily build a quality e-mail list and most importantly, how to create captivating emails that customers will open and read. You'll also learn tips and tricks for mobile marketing.
Marla will share valuable journalism insider tips on how to run your own online public relations campaign through YouTube, Podcasting and more. Discover online opportunities available to position yourself as a recognized expert and bring more of a spotlight to your business.
